Day 1 Lima
Arrive in Lima. Greet and meet at the airport , transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight.
Day 2 Lima-Cusco (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Lima's airport to board flight to Cusco. Flight takes about 80 minutes. Transfer from Cusco airport to the hotel of your choice. City tour in the afternoon (historical center and surrounding ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara). Overnight.
Day 3 Cusco-Sacred Valley-Cusco (B.L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour to the Urubamba Sacred Valley, Pisac* marketplace and ancient Ollantaytambo village. Buffet lunch on the way. Return to hotel in Cusco. Overnight.
Day 4 Cusco-Machu Picchu-Cusco (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cusco's train station. Train trip (Backpacker Service)** to Machu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes) takes about 3 hours and 30 min. Bus ride from village to the Machu Picchu citadel. Take a walk into the spectacular Inca citadel surrounded by high mountains and jungle vegetation. Return to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon to wait for the return train to Cusco. Upon arriving to Cusco's train station you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 5 Cusco-Lima (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Tranfer to the airport to board return flight to Lima. Transfer to your hotel in Lima. Old and Modern Lima city tour in the afternoon. See the Cathedral, the Government Palace and Municipal Hall in Lima's Main Square; visit the San Francisco Church and its catacombs; see the Desamparados Train Station and vice royal mansions. You will also tour the traditional residential and commercial areas of modern Lima. The city tour ends with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.Overnight.
Day 6 Lima (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board your international flight.
*The Pisac Market is available on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The Chinchero Market is available on Sunday at extra charge.
